Signed : Choshu Ju Hagi Ju Umetada Yoshihira. He was working in Kyoto &. Motif design : Eggplant’s & leaf’s. Sizes : 3-3/8″ x 3-3/8″+. Or 86.30 mm x 86.36 mm x. 4.58 mm at seppa-dai. At the mimi / rim. Material : well forged iron. Very well forged fine iron plate with a beautiful & very attractive well executed &. Well balanced high & deep carving reliefs. Motif design of ” Eggplant & leaf ” in to the space with very fine details. A silver fukurin on & all. The mimi / edge & the 2 Hana’s. In silver as well. The plate exhibit a beautiful rich & deep dark brown silky / lustrous patina with very fine details.
