Japanese samurai sword part of. It is in good antique condition. KATANA/WAKIZASHI sized MOKKO GATA (Cucumber) TSUBA. It is a nice iron tsuba with takabori carving and a little gold inlay. The design is the dragon in the clouds. Dragon in traditional Japanese art are generous and benevolent forces that use their strength to do good for mankind. Wisdom is also another trait attributed to dragons. IT IS A VERY NICE WORKMANSHIP AND WOULD BE GREAT ADDITION FOR ANY COLLECTOR.
