Antique Japanese WAKIZASHI’S KOSHIRAE. Thank you for seeing my page! Tsuba’s motif is Dragon, flower, Sukashi-bori (Open work) and gold inlay. And it is made of iron. Fuchi and Kashira are made of iron and copper. The author of Fuchi and Kashira is Tagawa-ju , Live in Tagawa meaning. The motifs of Fuchi and Kashira are colored leaves and brass inlaid. The motif of Menuki is horseshoe. Saya is a mosaic of shellfish. Saya-jiri is made of iron. Saya’s sori is 0.8 cm. The koshitae are goods of the Edo era. (about 150 years ago). Please look at the photos. Fuchi and Kashira, Saya-jiri are rusting. Saya has lacquer peeling, scratches and cracks. Fuchi is not fixed. Tsuba has a slight rust.
