Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened. 3-The blade is made of 9260 spring steel. Spring steel is used in making swords due to its high yield strength, resistance to deformation and its ability to return to its original shape without any distortion. The blade has no Hi (blood groove) enhance its strength and cutting power. 4-This blade comes with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. This sword is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper. 5-Tsuba: The Tsuba (guard) of the sword is made of alloy. The Habaki (blade collar) is a one piece brass construction.
