TSUBA Cranes and Dragons Inlay Large Japanese Iron Sword Guard Edo Antique. Rarely seen tsuba with designs of pine cranes on the front and cloud dragons on the back. Many cranes and pine trees are elaborately crafted on the front. Zougan inlay technique is used. The color is added by using a crafting technique in which different materials are inlaid into one material. Length: 8.43cm. Width: 8.04cm. Thickness: 0.38cm. Weight: 174.1g.
