Large photos below under the description. Fine very old Tsuba. About 400 +/- years old circa 1600’s. Paper / certificate : NBTHK-Hozon. Motid design: Unryu-Zu / Dragon & clouds. Jidai era: Momoyama / very Edo period, late-16 to very early 17th century. 4 construction plates, the core is 2 brass plate & front back &. The rim Yamagane plate “unrefined old-copper”. Beautiful different tone of a rich lustrous warm color patina from age, & in excellent condition. Sizes: 7.81 cm x 74.2 cm. Thickness: 4.1 mm at seppa-dai / center.
