Not officially appraised, but signature appears to be of good quality. Has rust/oxidation – requires maintenance/care. Original tsuba box included (box knob is loose). Height: approximately 71.2mm. Thickness: approximately 3.4mm. Weight: approximately 86.1g. This is an iron tsuba featuring a design of swallows and a torii gate, signed by Hokanrin Takemaro with his kao (personal seal mark). It has two hitsu-ana (auxiliary holes) and comes with its original storage box. The relatively light weight of 86.1g and thin profile of 3.4mm suggest refined craftsmanship.
