Katana Weight: 1.4kg, Overall Length: 40.9″/104cm, Nagasa(blade length): 28.0″/ 71cm, Blade Width(near habaki): 1.26″ / 3.2cm, Blade Width(near kissaki): 0.91″ / 2.3cm, Blade Thickness: 0.28″ / 0.7cm Tsuka(handle length): 10.6″/ 27cm. This blade is made of Clay Tempered T-10 High Carbon Steel. This blade was Clay Tempered and has more than 14 process hand sharpening work. All the steps including material selection, forge, quenching, polishing and grinding and final assembly are finished manually. The hardness has reached 60 HRC. This blade comes with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. And the surface is very smooth, bright and sharp enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet, and sharp enough to cut fruit, water bottles, and so on. The blade is made of Clay Tempered T-10 High Carbon Steel with a great kissaki, The Saya are made of real hard wood with lacquer, koiguchi made of real horn. The Tsuka (Handle) is made of Genuine Ray Skin (Samegawa), wrapped with black ito rope outside. The handle of the sword is fixed by two bamboo nails. The Habaki, Kashira, fuchi and Seppa of the sword was made of High Quality brass. The Tsuba is made of black Japanese iron.
