Tomoe and Gourd Design Tsuba. Design: Tomoe and Gourd. Material: Iron and Gold (Heianjo_Zogan). MASASHIGE was an artist who lived in Heianjo (Kyoto) during the Momoyama period. He was followed by two generations, and I believe this Tsuba is the work of the first generation. He specialized in Heianjo-Zogan. This Tsuba is designed with Tomoe and gourds.
