More & larger photos under the description below. A good & strong very old big Katchushi Tsuba Big Katana sized : 87.28 mm or 3-7/16. The 2 Hitsu-Ana are plugged long time-ago / very old-plugs! Jidai (era) : Momoyama era late- 16th century / ca. Material : well forged & carved beautiful big iron plate with a fine & very elegant well balanced. Composition design in sukashi / cut-out in to the plate of family Mon. With a rich & very- deep dark chocolate brown patina. Very good iron & beautiful color! Big sizes : 3-7/16″ x 3-7/16″+ or 87-28 mm x 87.51 mm. 23 mm thick at seppa-dai. Thickness : at the mimi / rim 5.44 mm. The plate is thicker at seppa-dai / center & thinner toward the edge , like pain cake shape.
