This is the Ryujin Black Dragon 1045/1095 Hand Forged Katana. The blade is made of forge welded 1095 and 1045 steels, which result in a blade that would be able to handle more stresses yet remain ductile. The blade has a gunome midare hamon with an O-maru boshi that goes to the extended chu kissaki. The tsuba and fuchi/kashira are made of blackened iron and the ito is a synthetic fiber black ito wrapped in traditional hinerimaki. The tsuka also features white genuine samegawa rayskin panels with double pinned bamboo mekugi. The saya is made of wood and is finished with a black lacquered finish with golden color shitodome and a thick black synthetic fiber sageo.
