I hope you get your hands on some good Japanese stuff! It is unmarked and comes in its own paulownia wood box. This is a magnificent piece of high quality carving with gold and silver inlays. The floral wheel sword has gold dragons around the ears and the holes in one side are filled with gold. The rim-head and menuki are also superbly carved. This is a gem that is valuable as a stand-alone piece. Please check the images carefully. It is in very good condition with some age stains and scuffs. The box does not appear to be that old, but it does show some age spots and stains.
